Candles made of Pure Beeswax are sometimes available.

They have a lovely smell of honey and flowers, and produce very little smoke. The wick is self-trimming, but worth keeping trimmed with sharp scissors if it goes out of true.

2 types:

Tall candles: They are hand poured in moulds and are 210mm high by 21mm thick, with specific wick for this size. They burn well if placed in a candle holder.

Pucks: in small moulds, with short wicks inserted, they work very well if placed on a small plate, last for a good, long, chatty meal about 3-4 hours ...
